Peer Review and Publication Policy
Journal of energy and management maintain the highest standards of peer review while increasing the efficiency of the process. The key feature of the peer review process is as follows:
- All submitted manuscripts are read by the editorial staff.
- Manuscript aligned to the scope and objective of the journal are allowed to be submitted to Reviewers for review. If the manuscript fails to comply, the manuscript shall be returned back to the authors from the editors’ desk itself.
- The journal adopts double blind review policy. The editor invites at least two reviewers to review the article.
- The reviewers have to complete the review process within 30 days following specific criteria. In case the reviewer fails to submit the review comments within the due date, three reminders to be given at a interval of 7 days each. In the absence of the reviewer comments within the due dates, the Editors are free to choose another reviewer.
- The reviewers are supposed to communicate the final decision from among the three alternatives, that is, Accept, Minor Revision and Major Revision.
- All publication decisions are made by the journals’ Chief Editor on the basis of the reviews provided
- Members of the international Editorial Boards lend insight, advice and guidance to the Chief Editor generally and assist decision making on specific submissions
- Managing Editor and Editorial team provide the administrative support that allows the journal to maintain the integrity of peer review.
