Tesseract ’15 – the maiden technical fest of Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University was held on 23rd to 25th October 2015; with a motive to ideate, innovate and inspire, truly inspired the large contingents of youth who attended the tech-fest. It has provided a flourishing platform for the inception and execution of ideas and concepts budding in the young curious brains. The technical fest was well enlightened by the presence of eminent personalities conducting distinguished learning events and the ambience was completely glittered by the amazing exhibitions showcased in the premises. The Fest opened with Short film screenings by Shamiana – Short film club and ended with EDM night by DJ Shaan.
The event hosted many guest lectures by eminent personalities like Rajendra Singh- The Water Man of India on rejuvenation of natural resources, Dr. Patrick Dasgupta on Dark Matter and Varun Agarwal on entrepreneurship and shared his experiences.
Live recruitment: An event to help out students in cracking their Group Discussions and Personal Interview held on 24th – 25th October 2015. This type of event helps them to give a mock test of the GD and PI.
Dalal Street: The event was held on 24th and 25th October 2015. With the help of software which stimulated the stock price of different stocks. The winner was decided on the basis of stock and virtual money they had.
Green Parliament: Envirocrates of PDPU and the society of Public Policy and Governance in collaboration with Centre of Environmental Education organized Green Parliament in which the all the domain of ministries coming up with solutions and ideas to redefine environmental policies.
EDM: After all, the three day festival summed up by an EDM night in which the lead artist was SHAAN, who is quite popular as the first Indian to perform at Tomorrow Land. With the beats of the console every one danced forgetting everything and living the moment. With perfect lights, perfect sound and everyone dancing on the beats made the atmosphere free from every resistance.
