PDPU has always believed in promoting every sport and to carry on the legacy the university is Organizing PDPU Open Tennis Championship from 15th to 21st October 2015. The Championship consists of 3 Categories – Men's Singles, Men's Doubles and Women’s Singles with total Prize Money of INR 1,00,000 cash and Merchandise & Vouchers worth 50,000.

The Tournament has received overwhelming response with more than 170 Participants from all over the Country . More than 30 participants have played state ranking tournament. This is the first championship of it’s kind in the region to be organized solely by a group of university students. The final Day of POTC will feature a Wheel Chair Match to celebrate the passion of players.
