Design and Development of High Resolution Spectroscopic Diagnostics on SST-1 and ADITYA-U Tokamak:
|Two Post :||Senior Research Fellow (SRF)|
|Duration :||Two Years (Coterminous with the Project – Expected Completion Date: August 2018)|
|Essentials :||M.Sc(Physics) + minimum 2 years of research experience.
The candidate shouldhave good physics background and knowledge of plasma spectroscopy.Thecandidate is expected to have good understanding of tokamak physics,atomic spectral databases like NIFS, ADAS etc, data analysis techniques etc.
Knowledge of programming languages like MATLAB / Python / IDL etc is essential.Since candidate is expected to work with high resolution spectrometer and sCMOS/ CCD detectors and various other optical components, working knowledgeof these instruments would be added benefit.
|Salary Range :||Salary: Rs. 28000 per month as per BRNS Norms.|
