A students’
forum to promote the literary and creative skills
of students
Writers’ Desk, initially formed by a group
of students of School of Petroleum Technology,
aims to discover the latent creative talent of
the young minds.

The forum has been conducting a number of events
like poem recitation, story writing competitions and
many more. The forum presents the creative works of
the students in an e-magazine named ‘AAYAAM’.
It has now come out with its printed edition.
“Aayaam” is a students’ magazine
of the School of Petroleum Technology, PDPU. It is a
platform to show the literary and creative skills of
the students. The whole magazine is written, compiled
and designed by the students themselves and no external
professional help is taken.

The first printed edition of “Aayaam” has
been launched on the occasion of Independence Day by
the Director-General of PDPU Shri F. B. Virani.
