Dr. Pramod Paliwal has around 18 years of corporate
and academic experience. He worked with ACC Limited
(a Holcim subsidiary) before joining academia and completing
his PhD in Management. Prior to joining School of Petroleum
Management, PDPU, his academic assignments include an
affiliate of MLS University, Udaipur and the India Campus
of Oxford Brookes University, UK.
Dr. Paliwal has contributed to academic knowledge vide
his publications in leading refereed international &
Indian journals of Management in India, USA and UK.
He has been on various committees of the leading universities
of India. He is the editor of the prospective international
journal, International Journal of Petroleum Management
(IJPM). Among other interests he also has issues related
to sustainable development and public policy at the
core of his heart. He has written on these issues and
also taken up matters of public interest in this area.
One of his recent projects include advising an extractive
industry organization to engage in and support sustainable
manufacturing & marketing practices.
Whenever time permits, he also engages training sessions
for company executives. Some companies that he had been
associated with for training/executive education are
Sabarmati Gas, GSFC Limited, Gujarat Gas, Eden HiTech
Polyfilms, JK Cement and Wolkem. He has also been associated
with consulting assignments in the area of sales network,
marketing organization, and retail diversification.
An invited member of Society of Petroleum Engineers,
he is on the Academic Council of PD Petroleum University.
He has lectured at NID Gandhinagar, SP University Gujarat,
JNV University, MLS University, Rajasthan Vidyapeeth
and Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK. He has guided
two PhD theses in Management.
For past few years, by the virtue of his academic
& professional interest in Natural Gas industry,
he has been invited for research based presentations/deliberations
at international forums in City Gas Distribution business.
