Dr. Parekh is carrying out research in Non-linear optical Materials and developments of its applications. Nonlinear optics (NLO) is a new frontier area of science and technology that has to play a major role in the emerging technology of photonics, Dr. Parekh is working on development of highly efficient nonlinear optical materials by using organic and inorganic substances. He is also trying to develop various practical applications of these materials.
